Content policy
Last updated 9 September 2026
A rented headline sits under a real person’s name, next to everything they say. This policy exists so sellers can list without worrying about what will land on their profile, and so buyers know what will be approved before they pay.
Not allowed
- Hate speech, harassment, or content attacking a protected group
- Adult content, or anything sexual in nature
- Anything illegal in the seller’s country or the buyer’s
- Impersonating a person, company, or employer, or implying a relationship that does not exist
- Cryptocurrency promotion, MLM, pyramid schemes, and get-rich-quick offers
- Political campaigning and election advertising
- Medical, legal, or financial claims presented as advice
- Malware, phishing, or links to either
Format rules
- 220 characters maximum, including the link
- One link, and it must resolve to the destination it names
- No misleading formatting — no fake badges, counts, or verification marks
Review
Every rental is reviewed after payment and before it goes live. The seller reviews their own listing, and we can review anything on the marketplace. Approval is not automatic and there is no time guarantee, though most reviews resolve within a day.
Rejections and refunds
If a rental is rejected the subscription is cancelled and the payment is refunded in full. Nothing appears on the seller’s profile. A rejection is not a judgement about you — sellers can decline for any reason, including simply not wanting that message under their name.
Taking a live rental down
A seller can end a live rental at any time. We can also remove one that breaks this policy after it went live. In either case the buyer is refunded for the unused part of the billing month.
Repeat abuse
Accounts that repeatedly submit content that breaks this policy will be suspended, and listings that repeatedly host it will be delisted.
