Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and rentmylinkedinheadline (“we”, “us”). We run a marketplace: sellers offer the headline field on their own social profile for rent, and buyers pay a monthly subscription to place text there. We take payment and pay sellers out. We do not control any seller’s profile and we are not a party to what a seller does with theirs.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You must not be barred from using the service under any applicable sanctions or export rules.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. One account can both buy and sell. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of what you tell us — including your follower count, which sets your price tier.

For sellers

• You confirm you own the profile you list and are allowed to change its headline.
• You are solely responsible for your own compliance with the terms of the platform your profile lives on. Renting profile space may conflict with those terms, and any consequence to your account — including suspension or permanent loss — is yours alone. We make no promise that listing here is permitted by that platform.
• You review and approve every rental before it goes live, and may reject any of them for any reason.
• You agree to keep approved text in your headline, unchanged, for as long as the rental is live.
• Misrepresenting your follower count to reach a higher tier is grounds for delisting and forfeiture of the affected earnings.

For buyers

• You are buying a monthly subscription, not a permanent placement. It renews until you cancel.
• Your text must follow the content policy. Rejected text is refunded in full.
• Placement depends on a person acting manually. We do not guarantee how quickly it goes live, how long it stays visible, how many people see it, or what results it produces.
• If the seller’s account is suspended or deleted mid-rental, we refund the unused part of the month. That is the entire remedy.

Content and licence

You keep ownership of the text you submit. By submitting it you grant us and the seller a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it for the duration of the rental, and you confirm you hold every right needed to do so — including to any trademark or copyrighted material it contains. Sellers grant us a licence to display their profile name, photo, and follower count on the marketplace while listed.

Payments

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller of record for your transaction. We collect the full amount, deduct a marketplace fee, and credit the remainder to the seller’s balance.

Seller payouts

Payouts are manual. A seller may request one once their balance reaches $25; we typically send it within 5–10 business days. Because our payment processor does not support marketplace split payouts, we hold seller funds and pay them out ourselves — we are the counterparty to every seller. We do not pay interest on held balances.

Taxes

Sales tax and VAT on buyer transactions are handled by our processor as merchant of record. Sellers are independent and responsible for their own income tax and any registration their jurisdiction requires. We may require tax details before releasing a payout.

Refunds

A rental rejected in review is refunded in full. A live rental ended early by the seller or by us is refunded for the unused part of the month. Otherwise subscriptions are not refundable — cancel before the next renewal.

Prohibited conduct

Do not scrape the marketplace, circumvent fees by arranging payment off-platform, create accounts to manipulate pricing or waitlists, submit content that breaks the content policy, or interfere with the service’s operation.

Ending things

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or remove an account or listing that breaks these terms or the content policy. Live rentals affected by a removal are refunded pro rata. Sections that by their nature should survive — payment obligations, licence grants, liability, and indemnity — do.

Disclaimer and liability

The marketplace is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profile access, lost reach, lost business, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you submitted, from your breach of these terms, or from your own violation of a third-party platform’s rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be heard by the courts there. Please email us first — nearly everything is faster to resolve that way.

Not affiliated

This service is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to LinkedIn or any other platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
